Cookie Policy
This website uses its own and third-party analytical, statistical and profiling cookies for analysis purposes, to improve user experience and to share multimedia content.
We use cookies to personalise content and ads, to provide social media features and to analyse our traffic.
Some data is stored outside the EU, as per the extended policy statement below, which you are invited to read carefully.
1. Data controller: The processing of the data collected by the website www.pilatesbypetrab.com
We hereby inform that the “Data Controller” is: Petra Botka, 6300 Kalocsa, Tessedik S. u. 1. HUNGARY,
We provide the following contact details: e-mail address: pilatesbypetrab@gmail.com
2. Object of the treatment: Cookies are small text files that the sites visited by the user send directly to their terminal (usually the browser), where they are stored before being re- transmitted to the same sites at the next visit by the same user (first-party cookies). While browsing, the user can also receive cookies from different sites or web servers (third-party cookies) on his terminal; this happens because the visited website may contain elements such as, for example, images, maps, sounds, specific links to web pages of other domains that reside on servers other than the one on which the requested page is located. In other words, they are those cookies that are set by a website other than the one you are currently visiting.
3. Purpose of the processing: Cookies are used for several purposes. Technical cookies are necessary to enable you to browse the Site and use its functionalities. Analytic cookies are used to obtain statistical information, usually in aggregate or non-aggregate form, on the number of users who access the site and how the site is used. Finally, profiling cookies are generally used to trace the consumer’s profile and display advertisements on the site that may be of interest, as they are consistent with consumer tastes and habits. To learn more in detail about these different categories of cookies, continue reading this policy. Find out how they work and what they are used for.
4. Legal basis: Apart from technical cookies, all other cookies will only be installed with your consent. You can at any time change your preferences by opening this Cookie Policy at the bottom of each page of the site. If no option is given, only the necessary Cookies will be enabled.
5. Data retention period: Cookies may have a lifetime limited to a single browser session (session cookies), in which case they are automatically deactivated when the user closes the browser; others may have a predetermined expiry date, in which case they will remain stored and active on your hard disk until that expiration date, continuing to collect information over
the course of several browser sessions (permanent cookies). To find out the retention period of each individual cookie, please refer to the relevant tables.
6. Data recipients: Data collected through the cookies on this site are communicated to the third parties to which the cookies refer, to the management staff appointed by the Data Controller and, upon request, to any public authorities if required by law.
7. Data transfers to third countries: Data are transferred to countries outside the EU, in particular to the United States, a country that has not been classified as adequate by the European Commission due to certain federal laws which are not aligned with European data protection standards. By accepting these cookies, you are giving your consent to this transfer. The user can object to the data transfer by rejecting all non-necessary cookies. The lack of adequacy determination does not refer to a lack of data security as such, but to the different level of legal data protection due to different regulations from those in the US. Therefore, the data transferred to these countries do not receive the same level of protection as under European law and, by accepting said transfer, the user agrees to be subject to the legislation in force in these countries, including partly waiving certain rights under European law (to make it clear: if you use the most popular social networks, Google mailboxes or videoconferencing systems such as Skype, Microsoft Teams or Zoom, you are transferring data to a country deemed unsuitable by the European Commission every day).
8. Rights of the data subject: In accordance with the EU Regulation, you have the right to:
● request access to your personal data (i.e. to know what personal data we hold about you);
● request the correction of inaccurate data or the integration of incomplete data (if any of your data has changed, i.e. if you have a new e-mail address);
● request the deletion of personal data (in case of the occurrence of one of the conditions set out in Article 17(1) of the GDPR and in compliance with the exceptions provided for in paragraph 3 of the same Article, limitation of the processing of your personal data) if one of the cases indicated in Article 18(1) of the GDPR occurs;
● object to the processing (i.e. if you become aware that your data is being processed in a way that does not comply with this policy) and
● data portability, which means requesting and obtaining your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format, also in order to communicate such data to a different data controller (right to portability);
● withdraw your consent at any time, limited to cases where the processing is based on consent for one or more specific purposes and concerns common personal data ( for example, date and place of birth or place of residence), or special categories of data (for example, data revealing your racial origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, state of health or sex life). Processing based on consent and carried out prior to the withdrawal of consent retains, however, its lawfulness.
● The above-mentioned rights with regard to personal data relating to deceased individuals may be exercised by any person who has an interest of his own, or is acting
on behalf of the data subject, in his capacity as his representative, or for family reasons worthy of protection, unless the data subject has expressly forbidden this in a written declaration submitted to or communicated to the data controller.
● File a complaint to the control authority (Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information – https://naih.hu/about-the-authority ).
9. How to exercise rights: For any problems or needs, please write to: pilatesbypetrab@gmail.com
